WELCOME

Welcome to Grace Child Care where we build a love for learning in the children we care for. Our operating hours are Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. We offer three, four, and five-day full-day enrollment options for both our two-year-old and mixed-age classrooms. Located in northern Stratford, just up the road from beautiful Booth Park and near Chapel Street and Flood Middle schools, Grace Childcare Center has been a trusted part of the Stratford community for over 55 years. We offer families a small, warm, and loving environment for children ages two through five. Our curriculum incorporates exploration, play, and developmentally appropriate kindergarten readiness. Our spring-through-fall gardening curriculum has become one of the primary outdoor learning experiences at our center. Children help plant vegetables, pumpkins, and flowers and observe them as they grow from tiny seedlings into thriving plants. We believe outdoor experiences are essential to a healthy and vibrant childhood, and the children go outside to play, learn, and explore as often as possible. Our indoor mat room provides gross motor experiences for inclement weather days.Come see our program in action by scheduling a tour at 203-381-0188. We hope to see you soon!

Our Programs
Twos
Our Twos Program is open from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with three, four, and five day enrollment options. Each day offers a comfortable balance of stories, creative art, dramatic play and block play, outdoor exploration and opportunities to play and learn with friends. Our primary goals are to help children develop language , communicate their needs, gain independence with toileting and personal care as well as build fine motor and gross motor skills.
Teachers model appropriate words and gestures as children begin navigating friendships and group life. In this way we help them learn to be kind and friendly with their classmates.
Experiences with books, words, counting and sorting are woven naturally into the day, along with plenty of outdoor time to explore the world through their rapidly developing senses.
